Seriously? I couldn't believe what I was reading when I saw this article:
Women who suffer from migraines may take at least some comfort in a recent, first-of-its-kind study that suggests a history of such headaches is associated with a significantly lower risk of breast cancer. In particular, migraine history appeared to reduce the risk of the most common subtypes of breast cancer.

So, I ask a question to all the migraine suffers out there: think it's worth it?
To all those without migrains: are you jealous?

Kinda weird, and un-helpful if you ask me.

To read the article in it's entirey go here.

It is sort of comforting to know that my chronic pain and disablity, the TIAs and the stroke (at age 37) could possibly lower my chances of Breast Cancer.
IS it worth it? Well, I do not have a choice. :) There is no known medication to control the rare form I have short of a neural implant and that is not happening. LOL

My dad told me about this. Hopefully it is true because I suffer terrible migrains/headaches. Have one right now as a matter of fact :)
